SEO audit report for a news site

A technical and on-page audit of a bilingual news site, delivered as a PDF report and a filterable spreadsheet.

The problem

Owners get long automated audits full of noise. This report lists only measured issues, with the pages affected, the evidence and the fix, ordered by impact.

What I built

• Crawl from the home page and the XML sitemap: status codes, redirects, click depth, titles, descriptions, canonicals, headings, images, links, Open Graph.
• Rendered checks in a browser for structured data, layout shift, page weight and phone overflow.
• Report with summary, quick wins, findings table and action plan; spreadsheet with filters and a page inventory.

How it was tested

• 10 findings, each one checked by hand on the live pages before it went into the report.
• Limits written in the report: speed numbers from a local test copy, Search Console data added on a real audit.
